We’re on the lookout for volunteers! Become part of a dedicated team of helpers that will provide invaluable support in fulfilling our mission “to create dynamic communities who promote, conserve and sustain the world’s biodiversity and improve animal welfare”.

We’re always looking for people to join our team and help us raise awareness and funds for the conservation and welfare of animals.

*Please note, our volunteering roles don’t involve working directly with our animals.

Event volunteers

Volunteers are an important part of the team helping us to ensure that guests have a great experience at our events. They provide a friendly welcome, answer to visitors’ questions, support fundraising activities and deliver excellent customer service.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for volunteers with the following skills and attributes, in order for them to complete their duties effectively:

  • Friendly, outgoing, self-confident and comfortable speaking to guests of all ages
  • Reliability and regular attendance
  • Passionate and keen to learn
  • Happy to be on their feet and outside
  • Willing to volunteer for a maximum of six events a year
  • Applicants must be 16 and over
